When you get a packaging of electric appliances, like TV sites, compactor and even a watch, you may found the packaging sheet that looks like EPS foam. Actually this is EPE material, a new environmentally friendly packaging material.
EPE foam, shorted for expanded polyethylene foam have many of the same properties as EPS. It is a closed – bore foam, flexible and light. EPE foam is an environmental protection products which are easy to recycle, 100% non-toxic. EPE foam, sometimes referred to as the pearl plate of industry, has excellent energy absorption properties, weight to strength ratio, high heat resistance, and resistance to water, oil and most chemicals and are available in a variety of densities.
The EPE foam indeed is a new material which combines properties from EPS and EPE, and allows to create products that are not only protecting but also completing the products itself. With high buffer and vibration resistance, EPE foam is flexible, elastic and has typical packaging material properties which makes it more popular in the packaging industry.
With the increasing application and demand of polyethylene materials, the disposal cost of EPE waste becomes a major problem. Even though it takes relatively shorter time for natural degradation compared with EPS, the large amount of EPE waste accumulation will cause white pollution as well.
However, incorporating advanced technology, INTCO has developed a kind of densifier that for PE foam recycling. Equipped with a crusher and double screw, the GREENMAX foam densifier can turn the waste polyethylene foam into small pieces and then extrude them out as dense ingots. The melting technology can realize compression ratio as high as 90:1, which help you gain profits from the waste.
GREENMAX foam densifier not only special for PE foam recycling, but also a good helper for other foam materials like EPS, XPS and products as single-use food trays. You are worth having such professional and practical machines!
