EPS RECYCLING
WHAT IS EPS?
EPS can be seen everywhere and is perhaps best known under other brand names – such as Styrofoam – and is used for a wide number of applications such as e.g. insulation and product protection during transportation.
IS EPS RECYCLABLE?
Yes, EPS can be recycled. EPS is not biodegradable and when not compressed it often ends in landfill where the light, but expansive material creates significant problems. In compacted form, EPS can however be sold on to producers of recycled plastic.
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO RECYCLE EPS?
a. Compact
GREENMAX APOLO Series specialize in compressing all kinds of EPS material and can help you to reduce the volume of EPS waste up to 50:1. Some people choose to put the EPS into landfills or burn EPS material, but this action have much pollution on air, water and soil. But GREENMAX APOLO Series can compact the EPS into tight block and the compacted EPS can be reused. As a result, the pollution and resource condition will be improved and changed much.
b. Densifier
GREENMAX MARS series of machine crush waste EPS into pieces and then the waste EPS will be melted after heating. Then the melted EPS material will be squeezed out and then will be shaped after cooling. At last EPS material will be made into pellets. The APOLO Series machine needn’t melting and the process is cold pressing. While, the MARS Series machine is hot melting process.
Benefits the buyer can get from buying our machines:
