Plastic Packaging
Here are the data: Moore Recycling Associates reported that at least 320.7 million kilograms of post-consumer plastics (including commercial material) is recycled in 2014. The 3% of increase was mainly because the recycling of high-density polyethylene bottles and film increases.
Krista Friesen, vice president of the Association said that although the growth rate 3% may not seem like a lot, but we see the trend of lightweight packaging significantly strengthened, it is very important.
78 percent of plastic packaging are in Canada or the United States, and the remaining 17 per cent are in the export, the other 5% is not clear about plastic packaging recycling.
