Although faced with sorting problems, thermoformed PET recycling in North America has been increasing.
American PET Container Recycling Association (NAPCOR) and the American Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR), a report pointed out that the recycling of PET thermoforming increased by 70% in the United States and Canada over the previous year, in 2014, over 100 million recycled pound thermoformed PET.
Although now thermoformed PET in bottles brick is not common practice, but more and more recyclers have adjusted their own standards, it allowed a certain percentage of thermoformed PET bottle brick, or directly accept automatic the ability to choose quality supplier delivery thermoformed PET bottles containing bricks.
However, with a number of different materials, non-recyclable labels, inks and adhesives and a number of other technical conditions, now thermoformed PET recycling has slowed.
Last year, if PET thermoformed containers do not contain material, then PET recycling rate is only 31%.
Now, there is a new recycling method that uses GREENMAX recycling machine to recycle and compress PET bottles in market. First, put PET bottles into GREENMAX Poseidon series machine. This machine will separate water from bottle, wring moisture, compress plastic bottles, and then by the screw extruder. This recycling process has been large-scale use in the global market.
